Amaranthus cruentus. Alamos. A beautiful amaranth from the colonial town of Alamos in southern Sonora, Mexico. Leaves are green with red-tinged veins and the “flowers” (bracts) are bright fuchsia-colored. From our Seed Bank Collection.
