This variety is named after the showy sombrero-shaped flowers. The yellow drooping petals surround a long central cone. A perennial, it produces numerous flower stalks 1-2 ft high with a leafy lower section. Blooms throughout the summer. Drought tolerant. A favorite bloom for attracting pollinators at the Native Seeds/SEARCH Conservation Farm.
