Tohono O’odham Vayo Amarillo

Phaseolus vulgaris.  A pole bean with a sweet flavor and creamy texture. These gold beans were originally collected in the O’odham village of Santa Rosa in 1982.  A Mexican bean introduced to the Tohono O’odham. From our Seed Bank Collection.
