Mayo/Yoeme Deer Dance Rattle
Lagenaria siceraria. Fruit shapes vary slightly from tear-drop to short-handled dipper. Used to make rattles for the Deer Dance. Collected in Sinaloa in the late 1990’s. From our Seed Bank Collection.
