Acoma Pumpkin
Cucurbita pepo. A wonderful and productive pumpkin from Acoma Pueblo. Round, thick-fleshed fruits are varied in color; some orange or buff, some with dark and light green stripes. Grown in northern New Mexico and used as winter squash. From the seed bank collection. This variety is available to members of Southwestern Indigenous tribes only.
